Who is Moving Water Outfitters?

Meet Chris Snodgrass, one of owners of Moving Water Outfitters.

• How long have you been fishing, and how did you get started?

  • I have been fishing as long as I can remember. I got started with my dad and grandpa at my grandpa’s cabin on Green River Reservoir in Kentucky.

• If you had the day off, where would you head to fish?

  • Locally, the Tippecanoe River.

• What is your perfect fishing day?

  • Any day on the water. One of the best parts of fishing is the adventure and the hunt, so regardless of the conditions, there is something to take away from every fishing day.

• Favorite fishing outfit

  • I am a big fan of the Sage X in various weights depending on what I’m fishing. Since it’s such a versatile rod, paired with the appropriate line, it’s a perfect set up.

• Favorite fishing destination

  • Its a tie between southwest Montana and alpine elevations of Loa/Bicknell area of Utah.

• Wading, kayak, or boat?

  • I'll take any of the above, but if I had to pick one, it would be fishing out of a kayak. 

• Favorite activity when not fishing

  • Strength training and competing in Scottish Highland games

• Favorite ice cream

  • Cookies and Cream

  • The Count of Monte Cristo
